Fundamentals of Unix 


			COURSE DESCRIPTION

	This course teaches the basic working environment of a Unix  system;
	specifically targeted towards Sun Solaris, HP-UX, IBM AIX and Linux variants.	   
	It introduces commonly required operations that can be performed by
	entering commands interactively in a command terminal, along with
	functions available in the Common Desktop Environment (CDE).

	The course has been updated to include the JDS (Java Desktop System)
	that is supplied with Solaris 10.

	In the Linux variant of the course, both the KDE and Gnome desktop
	environments are shown.
